Description:
Excalibur Collectables is looking for $200k in start-up capital so that we can expand our Collectables business we currently have 2,500 sq ft of store space and want to expand into other lines of collectables and apparel we sell comic books action figures gaming supplies and cards and with the popularity of what seems to be main stream pop culture right now with 8 TV shows based on comic books and 7 major motion pictures this year and 4 more TV show planned for the fall my collectables business is never better I have a pending lease with brixmor leasing for a 7,500 sq ft space at $5,000 a month with the first 3 months rent free I have a $25,000 reimbursement from brixmor to have the store front renovated I have spent over $1,000 to have (URL removed) put the name of the store out to 58 different search engines like Google, yahoo, and bing. plus have a strong following on Facebook and twitter and when the remodeling phase of the store begins I plan on using instagram and YouTube for a video series of the creation of the store from remodeling to grand opening and beyond I will be selling back packs hoodies jackets t shirts glassware mugs key chains iPod and iPhone cases standees posters and limited edition statues and bust of characters from Marvel DC Walking Dead Game of Thrones Sons of Anarchy Big Bang Theory Horror sci fi and Japanese anime and other collectables of the genre there is 70 feet of wall space for graphic novels and trade paperbacks of my theme and I will fill it and be the largest store in all of Pennsylvania that has such a selection and I plan on keep selling on Amazon and Ebay and in the near future my own store front website in which to sell my product for a grand opening celebration I have a standing deal with sports images entertainment to have HINES WARD former football player of the Pittsburgh Steelers to come in for one day and sign autographs and have pictures taken the cost of getting Mr Ward here is $25,000 for one day and will very likely to make a profit of 25,000 from him being here for the store I have 100,000 comic books I have been dealing with comic books and collectables for over 30 years and have built a large collection if I was to sell my whole collection for a dollar each I would have the money for the store but that's defeating the purpose. I have about a 1,500 comic books valued at over $500.00 each (Overstreet Price Guide) I have wholesale contracts with LEGO, HASBRO, MATTEL, WIZARDS OF THE COAST. to sell their merchandise in my store. and strange as it may be when you look on the Lego website to the stores that carry their product in Altoona the only business listed is Gabriel Brothers which is a clothing store. not Walmart not Kmart and not even Toys R us which is pretty strange but purchasing from them will mean that the stores name will be listed on their website as a place to purchase Lego's in Future months after opening of the store I plan on getting the talents of Jim Parsons from Big Bang Theory to visit the store for autographs and Norman Reedus from the Walking Dead to come and sign autographs with these 3 people coming to the store the proverbial shock wave from this business venture will be felt beyond the boarders of Pennsylvania I know this to be true I sell at collectable conventions all the time and the local comic and collectables convention that was here in altoona a month ago I had one 8 foot table to sell merchandise and promote the new store I sold $2,000 retail worth of merchandise in 3 days and handed out over 1,000 flyers for the store I thank you for your time in listening to me about my passion for the collectables market.
