Provision of online investor and trader tools, based on a suite of analytical software designed by me for my analysts when I was Head of Equities Research at Austalia's then-largest internet investment site (investorweb).
InvestorWeb was acquired by a bank which had difficulty integrating the acquisition (and has since shuttered the operation).
Prior to being shut down, InvestorWeb's offering to individual investors had suffered from a lack of resource commitment by management: the result had been significant (and something upon which a new market entrant can capitalise) - stagnant product offering, falls in subscribers numbers and revenue, and a move to EBITDA losses.
The site I have built includes an improved analysis engine and a suite of tools that were developed on my own time and funded by me. Future plans involve translation of analysis engine output into French and German, with planned expansion into markets in Europe (which are much less saturated than North Ammerica).
