COCS is an officially registered, not-for-profit 501 (C) 3 tax exempt organization in New York operated by Chinese professionals from diverse backgrounds. COCS aims to unite overseas Chinese people across professions and social status, to enhance the collective power in advancing the following goals: 1) Promote critical thinking of social and legal issues concerning China and overseas Chinese communities; 2) Improve the quality of life of Chinese Americans by reinforcing social skills and access to social resources; 3) Enhance the world's understanding of Chinese art and culture.
