We affiliate with Argonne national labs Illinois (CNM nanomaterials center, APS and ALCF synchrotron and supercomputing facilities) for experimental, with UCSD nanofabrication facility as industry partners, with ASU supercomputing for modeling.
We house our business and R&D at Illinois Universities nanoincubator facilities with wet laboratories and offices.
Several years invested in nanotechnology R&(URL removed) intellectual property generated, design and prototypes achieved of:
supercapacitors of room (large) scale from nanofunctionalized materials for energy storage from wind and solar panels, batteries anodes/cathodes materials, emissions controls for diesel vehicles, biofuels nanocatalysts, thermal energy harvesting (nano-) materials, safety equipment and thermal and generative power for/and clothing, and last but not least nanobiomaterials for nutritional supplements and if clinical trials made then for drugs.
A commercialization challenge has been large scale processing of nanofunctional materials that are conducting phase, are high surface to volume ratio such that many chemically active reaction sites are available, and from materials that are easily obtained and cheaply and which are furthermore environment (URL removed) have solved most of these challenges , we have created IP intellectual property and prototyped several of these nanomaterials and applications, and we are ready to move into a commercialization phase of our nanotechnology corporation.
