We invest in small and medium-sized businesses with growth opportunities. Our approach is one of active and hands-on involvement. We are invested in 3 businesses and need capital to grow our investments and to exploit additional investment opportunities. We see significant opportunities in the expanding African market and want to use South African businesses to springboard into Africa.
To that end we are prepared to provide a secured lending investment structure with an effective free "carry".
We want to raise between $20m and $50m, by way of loan funding into a new subsidiary and participation in 50% of the equity at nominal value. The loan funding shall be secured and bear above market interest rates.
