Description: (URL removed) My Fallen Friends is an online memorial that allows friends and family of the deceased to create profiles of their fallen loved ones. Profiles will allow visitors to view pictures, video, and other information about the deceased. Visitors can view and sign the deceased's guestbook, they may share their own pics and video and stories shared with the deceased. Visitors may upload newspaper clippings, obituaries, eulogies, awards, and other documents to the deceased's profile page/wall. The site will have facebook and twitter linking capabilities. As FB users have their friends, fallen friends will also be listed on a FB user's profile page. A Facebook app will be created to allow users to create and view (URL removed) profiles via Facebook. Visitors can search for fallen friends by the deceased's city of birth, city of death, places of residence, places of employment, schools attended, professional associations, military duty, and other criteria. The creator (family/friend of the deceased) will input the criteria in somewhat of a resume to allow for many past acquaintances to search depending on their association with the deceased. For instance, Bill worked at Chevron Gas in Houston, Tx 20 years ago and wants to find out if any of his past co-workers have passed; he searches by employment (Chevron Gas) and enter a date range (1975-1981). Anyone matching that criteria will show in the results list considering they have a profile set up and they are actually deceased of course. The service to post a memorial is free, however creators may pay a small fee to upgrade the memorial to include more options and templates.
