IN THE HOUSE LONG DRIVE TOUR is an event that is taking off in 2009 in Madison, AL. Thw onjective of the company is to visit local golf courses, driving ranges, businesses, restuarants, and clubs and set a up golf simulator. People will pay an entry fee plus a registration fee for their first six balls. They are allowed two re-buys, but they only have to pay one registration fee. There will be three different yardage classes, so anybody who can swing a club would be able to enter the competition. At the end of the night, the person with the longest drive in each division will take home all of the entry fees minus the registration fees.
I plan on making this a National tour and hold regional events throughout the USA in 2010. Finally, towards the end of 2010, we will host a National Main Event for all of the top qualifiers in the regionals. I would also love to turn the National Main Event into a trade show for the public in which it can promote bussinesses from all areas.
I have created the website (URL removed) and I am already receiving close to 100 hits per day. I have also picked up a few sponsors, and this is where I plan on making profit in this venture. The start-up of the company is very low and I know that this will be huge! I would like to have this as a sole proprietorship for the first two years, but I am confident that it could turn into a great franchise in the future.
