We (my wife and I started a Transportation Company almost 2 years ago. We live in a beautiful Amish Community, where mthere is a desperate need for transportation for Amish and English people alike. I have acquired the Job and Family Services Transportation Contract for Holmes County, among other City and Private contracts. We have held these contracts for 2 years. The company grew from invoicing 2,000 a month to over 20,000 a month within 12 months. Thompson's Taxi has a great reputation and is growing every day. The company has great credit and more growth opportunity. However it takes alot of money to keep operating, and we have another opportunity to buy another Transportation Company in Wooster, Ohio. The owner wishes to retire. IT is a large cab company with over 15 vehicles and 20 drivers. We had the financing lined up through a family member, which has since been declined. We went to our bank, who were very interested in helping us, but did not like the 2 year income history of the other company. We showed a proposal where we could grow the income from 40,000 a year to 150,000 a year, but they want to see progress first, and then invest. The company we wish to purchase has Job and Family Contracts worth 5550,000, and is making a profit this year.
