Initially opened in 2001, Agents Auto Glass quickly became the fastest growing Auto Glass Replacement company in New England with annual revenues exceeding $1.2MM. Operating with one location, we nurtured and cultivated many productive relationships with insurance agency owners and staff generating 90% of our business through these agency referrals.
We have a well documented track record of success and an outstanding reputation with industry suppliers.
Our explosive growth caught the attention of a national competitor who desired to have a presence in the lucrative insurance referral market, and we sold the company to them in 2006.
They have subsequently gone into bankruptcy and we are planning to relaunch the Agents brand after the expiration of our non-compete agreements in the fall of 2011.
The new business plan is for multiple locations with revenue projections in the $5-10 MM range, including possible long term expansion into select markets nationally.
As we have maintained many of the key relationships with our insurance clients, we believe the first year revenues will project to be in the $750 - 1MM range and other than payroll, the out of pocket costs for plant and equipment to be less than $100K.
As we are less than 6 months away from the lucrative fall and winter season, we are actively pursuing all available options at this time.
