Description:
The Felix Dance Academy was established in 2014 to support excellence in artistic production and presentation and to enrich the social fabric in that we live and work. FDA is committed to presenting diverse local and national street dance crews , engaged in innovative artistic endeavors. In addition, the academy supports these presentations with a range of activities and programs aimed at encouraging and increasing the public’s engagement with the dancers and the works presented. In so doing, FDA aims to enrich the public’s appreciation of the cultural community with the goal of strengthening the arts community and the community at large.
We train to convey music through movement in all of it's dynamics, as well as to spread our knowledge and love for dance to those who wish to appreciate and learn.
What set us apart from the rest. We focused on our drive to improve as better dancers, we understand the ultimate goal is to have fun, entertaining audiences with the style of our own.
Dance is an intrinsic part of artistic and social culture. It provides a means to connect our histories and experiences of the world with others, to share our stories and aspirations and to imagine new possibilities for living. Dance reconnect us with our bodies and the way they exist to and for the world, interactively and productively generating that which is new, surprising and enlivening.
