We intend to provide our customers with the best In-Vehicle Infotainment System available for low and mid range budget vehicles. As a result of few years research and development work Vehicom software platform will run on a piece of hardware that we are going to produce.
Normally In-Vehicle Infotainment seen as a collection of hardware devices installed into automobiles, or other forms of transportation, to provide audio and/or audio/visual entertainment, as well as automotive navigation systems. Provided as dashboard computer connected via Internet it allows not only function as typical in in-vehicle infotainment appliance but as well communicate between vehicles, exchange and predict traffic conditions at vehicle location, and provide better trip planning. Vehicles equipped with OBD-II interface Vehicom is able to diagnose, display and log vehicle status, fuel consumption, speed and other metrics.
With Vehicom we are going to produce actual physical device and software framework that will work with it. Not limited only to navigation and maps and playing some media content, Vehicom brings run-time vehicle diagnostic, inter-vehicle communication and data exchange, weather, traffic conditions, traffic prediction, social networking and number of other small applications relevant to a driver and a vehicle. More, Vehicom software can be updated by car owner with just a click.
Because Vehicom hardware created as a modular platform, upgrading Vehicom won’t be a headache either. Car owner can order displays of various resolutions or computing modules of different processing power, there won’t be any need to replace whole unit, he just change a module from it.
