I run a single-manager global macro hedge fund with about $2.5m in assets. We launched in March '07 and finished the year with an extremely impressive 23% return (in less than 10 months). If the second year is as good, then the fund should be able to raise exponentially more assets. That is why right now I am in search of seed capital to get a small team in place that compliment my weaknesses (marketing, capital raising). And because investors are a bit scared of single-manager funds.
