BORN OF A TRINIDADIAN FATHER AND PANAMANIAN MOTHER, ESTRELLA CRISTINA ATTENDED CORNELL UNIVERSITY AND GRADUATED WITH A BS IN TEXTILE SCIENCES & APPAREL DESIGN. PRIOR TO GRADUATING SHE INTERNED WITH THE NOTABLE AND SOUGHT AFTER NY BASED DESIGNER HAN FENG. A SINGER-SONGWRITER BY TRADE LAUNCHING HER DEBUT LINE HAS BEEN A LIFE IN THE MAKING.
BERQCLE IS BASED IN LOS ANGELES AND IS CURRENTLY PRODUCED IN LOS ANGELES, USING MATERIALS IMPORTED FROM FRANCE AND ITALY.
Line Description:
A women's designer line, created to bring out our best and give the wearer the utmost confidence. The company's debut collection will focus solely on dresses: day, cocktail & evening. Each piece in the line is detail driven leaving the impression of a a ladylike audacity, fitted to perfection, infused with high quality laces and pivoting around other high quality fabrics. The line was very much inspired by the sense of elegance and class of dress from the Victorian period, Parisian aesthetics and the sense of occasion present in periods before. It reflects elegance, radiance, luminosity, confidence and class perfectly balanced with sexiness, edge and mystery; all of which are traits of the BerqclE woman. Each garment meant to inspire both the wearer and the viewer with the feeling and rush of walking into the unknown and unexpected.
