Description: The YahsWay Ex-Offender Reintegration Project will serve ex-offenders by providing transitional housing and several support services, including case management, job training, and placement services, and faith-based programs through volunteer mentors. The YahsWay Ex-Offender Reintegration Project will provide its residents with the resources they need to become productive citizens and to reintegrate themselves into the community without reverting to self-destructive patterns of behavior. The facility will be a structured living environment that employs resources to help men struggling with criminal history to order their lives through both immediate and career oriented needs. It is not a halfway house, homeless shelter, or a drug/ alcohol rehabilitation treatment center. It is a transitional home for former offenders, a home that has rules and regulations. Some of our clients may be homeless, others may be on parole, and others may be receiving outpatient treatment for drug or alcohol abuse. The main purpose of YahsWay Ex-Offender Reintegration Project is to promote personal and professional training along with spiritual development in a live-in environment.
