I am trying to start up a kids culinary school in the southern california area. My goal with this business is to teach young people the importance of good tasting and good for you foods, while at the same time pull them away from t.v. and video games to create a healthier youth. I am a Chef/Culinary school Graduate, I have worked in the industry for over 6 years, in all sorts of kitchens. I have Serv-safe Certificate. I feel that my idea will hav a strong response because of how "in" cooking and food is right now. Everyone who comes to the school will receive a Chef coat, apron, cutting board, 6" or 8" chefs knife depending on age, recipe book, and at the end of the course they will prepare a dinner for their families. They will learn both savory food and pastry, from basic knife handling to fancy plating. I want to excite kids about food again!!! Thank you for your time.
