Kellum Enterprises, LLC. We are a family business promoting Literacy & Family Values via media, entertainment & the arts. Our initial project is a children's book series called The ADVENTURES of Diggle, Boogie & LoLo. It is a book series about our family, produced by our family. The Read-A-Long CDs that comes with the books contain voice over work by my children, the real Diggle, Boogie & LoLo. Kids are usually fascinated when they find that the characters of the book they've purchased are real live kids.
In addition to selling our books, we have crafted a Literacy & Family Presentation called DBL ADVENTURES. DBL ADVENTURES is an interactive presentation that promotes the values mentioned above. Many have said that it has the potential to one day become a television show for kids.
As I've mentioned, with no resources for promotion and marketing and no distribution channel, I've sold over 5500 books (and counting). I'm almost out of inventory and I need to replenish soon. 5500 books multiplied by $10 - $18.
Our books are well received because of the Real Family component. In addition to that, they are not just children's books, they are ADVENTURES! With our stories written in rhyme, our multi-illustrated page and our engaging CDs, we typically receive the same question from persons who have already purchased our books..."WHEN WILL THE NEXT ONE BE OUT?"
I've created several unique and distinguished distribution sources to continue to sell the books to a larger audience, as well as free me up to produce and sell the other books that we've been anxious to (URL removed) that's where the funding comes in.
I'm looking for that investor who values family, the importance of literacy and teaching our kids character development in a very entertaining and creative way.
They can't have a problem with making money, either (smile).
