Description: Horror Is The Fastest Growing Genre: Over the years, horror films have grown in their ranking in box office success and 2017 was the highest-‐grossing year in horror history. 2017 was a break out year in a decade already filled with record setting box office results in the film business. with It, Get Out, Annabelle: Creation, 47 Meters Down, Happy Death Day, Jigsaw and the newest The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, all breaking the $100 Million mark. Synopsis – Cold Crazy: Cold Crazy brings strong elements of the demented family dynamics of 'Psycho' to the present-era shifting its focus from a son to a daughter. This give us two very strong female characters helming this nail-biter. The story expertly blurs the line between victim and perpetrator. Jocelyn Peters, is a middle-aged woman who comes from a very violent and conflicted world. Her world has taught her to faithfully honor her mother, an austere and intimidating woman. In her best friend, Maria Elders, Jocelyn sees the exact opposite of her upbringing. Instead of violence and instability, she sees a life of opportunity and love. In her own mind, Jocelyn Peters knows these things belong to her, no matter what the cost or who she hurts. All Jocelyn has to do is complete the obligations her demented but fading Mother has secretly beset on her through the years, no matter how tedious, how mundane, or how murderous they are. Jocelyn has helped and protected herself and her elderly mother from the evils of this daily world all (URL removed) least that's what she thought...  Cold Crazy stars Krista Allen, Jamie Bernadette, Mike C. Manning, and directed by award winning Director, Eric Weber, Cold Crazy is sure to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Talent Procured: We have Letters of Intent (available on request) from: Krista Allen, ('The Final Destination', 'Liar, Liar', 'Anger Management'); Jamie Bernadette, ('I Spit On Your Grave: Deja Vu'); Mike C. Manning, ('The Bay'); If a larger budget is raised, we have relationships with the following actors who have verbally expressed their intent to join the cast if we are able to raise the budget to our second level: Charisma Carpenter, ('Angel', 'The Expendables 2', 'The Expendables', Veronica Mars'), Dee Wallace, ('E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial', 'The Howling', 'Cujo', 'Critters'), Keegan Allen, ('Pretty Little Liars', 'Walker'), and Troian Bellisario, ('Pretty Little Liars') Why invest in film? The following points are from two investment journal articles written about the risk and reward of investing in a movie. • With new markets, such as China (1.2 billion new potential moviegoers) and India (900 million new potential English-speaking moviegoers), investor would be imprudent not to take a serious look at the potential rewards of movie investments at this time. • Investing in the motion picture industry, you can potentially earn a huge return on your investment. Budget and ROI: (Budget breakdowns are available upon request.) While returns vary widely in the film business, an example of ROI would be the returns from the low budget It Follows produced in Michigan follows. At a production revenue of $20.6 Million, a $25K investment would yield an ROI of $2.05 Million. While this is unlikely, it is (URL removed) that is the beauty of film investment. Our production budget has been set initially at $100,000. The detailed budget is attached. Our second level budget of $150,000 would allow us to secure additional Hollywood talent to further ensure the film’s financial success. Michigan currently supports no tax credits. Investors would immediately receive their investment back with the first $100,000 in revenue. Revenue after that point would be distributed as follows: $25K investor ROI is 10% of all revenues after the first $100,000 investment is repaid. $10K investor ROI is 4% of all revenues after the first $100,000 investment is repaid. $5K investor ROI is 2% of all revenues after the first $100,000 investment is repaid. Distribution: While Cold Crazy does not have an MG or sales agreement, we have relationships with Vision, Freestyle, Green Apple, Shoreline, VMI, and Gravitas Ventures.
