Description:
A&E Shredding will be a mobile shredding operation focusing on secure document shredding for home offices and residences. We will on site secure document shredding utilizing a mobile shred trucks that is specifically designed for streets and residential neighborhoods. This is an area in the market in which the larger mobile shred truck organizations cannot provide due to the size of their trucks and the way that their businesses operate. The reason for this startup is that I have over 5 years experience working in the mobile shredding industry with one of the top competitors in the market. I have successful grown an operation from a 4 truck operation to a 26 truck operation in the course of 5 years through acquisitions and sales. While working with that company, there had been numerous inquiries from home offices and residents in providing shredding service at their residences. Due to the size of the vehicles and the goals of the organization, it was concluded that servicing residences would not be profitable based on the business model the company used to run the day to day business. The organization focused more on corporate clients and businesses. As a smaller company focusing on just the residential market, the results are profitable when facturing a vehicle and resource costing less than operating the larger vehicles and comparing it to the price of services being provided. Initially, we would like to start as a one truck operation with resources only involving a mobile shred truck, and office equipment; i.e. computer and printer. The operation will have two sources of revenue. One is from the services provided with the second being revenue from sold shredding paper to recycling facilities. Future growth is almost immediate once the operation is in place.
