Lar la Lar Arts right now is just me- Emmy Dudley- I've been a self-employed artist for 12 years now- strickly making a living selling my paintings. I sell my work through galleries, mostly in the south, and on my website- (URL removed). The art market is very unpredictable- I go through periods when I sell tons of work and then times when the sales are slow. I began mostly painting figures, but now I'm branching out into doing more non-objectives and they've been very successful. I made it through the summer with some large commissions & I just bought a house- & now the art market, like everything else, is slowing down. I really want to stay creative and creating work- I'm looking for someone to invest in me and my creativity- $50,000-$60,000 . . . this money would get me completely out of debt & financially secure enough to live and work for a full year- Without the worry of making ends meet I know that the amount of money I will begin to make will sky-rocket! It will give me the opportunity to fully develop my new style & get into bigger and better galleries~ & not only am I a painter, but I'm also working on 2 screenplays, 3 children's books & I've invented a cat liter cabinet/system- that has been redesigned for the 2nd time- with this money I would have the time to pursue these goals as well & begin to make money in new areas. Also there's a new greeting card company wanting to sell my work, along with note-cards.
