Description:
Due to lack of capacity in the Legal and Social systems to provide services and resources for all our people in the country, we decided to address the needs of our communities and surrounding areas by establishing the Indyebo Youth Information Centre.
Young people today face many challenges such as poverty, unemployment, crime, substance abuse and teenage pregnancy.
Therefore the Indyebo Youth Information Centre concept was started in 2006 when a group of young intelligent ambitious people came up with an idea of starting a business. The business was registered in 2007 with the help of the Small Enterprise Development Agency and Department of Social Services and Population Development funded the initiative with the amount of R300 000.00 as one of its youth development programmes.
