EK Enterprises was founded in 2010 by Emily Holmes (CFO) and Kacie Serls (COO). Both founders earned their Bachelor's degrees from The Pennsylvania State University. EK Enterprises is looking for additional funding to acquire a chosen property and open an international hostel, restaurant, and bar in Rincon, Puerto Rico. Rincon is the surfing capital of the Caribbean and was rated #1 surf mecca in the world in 2009 by Transworld (Surf) Magazine. The chosen property was previously a small hotel, which includes the existing restaurant and bar. Both Emily and Kacie have assisted in the opening of and managed hostels as well as bars/restaurants in different parts of the world. This hostel will be an owner-operated facility appealing to surfers, backpackers, student groups, and many other travelers from the US and all over the world. The chosen site is located steps from gorgeous beaches with some of the best surf on the planet. A full business plan has already been prepared and is available upon request.
