My daughter and I are in the planning stages of opening a boutique in the Houston Metro-Area. We are currently researching the retail clothing industry, retail real estate (lease vs. buy--leaning on lease), taxes, product, would-be competitors as well as business operations. We are also researching the brands that would be on display and sale in our boutique. We would also operate an e-store.
We are looking to open a boutique that inspires and reminds women and young ladies that you do not have to subscribe to 'offensive' clothing to express your femininity.
