Description: After running a successful swimming/water therapy business for a decade I decided over a year ago I wanted to start an outdoor educational business on my forestry property. I want to share how healing the outdoors is. About 3.5 years ago we bought 20 acres of forest land we plan to build on. Every time we would explore our property I was like a kid in a candy store with all the (URL removed) animal (URL removed) beauty the smells. it was all so healing to me. I have run a successful swimming/water therapy business for 10 years, and every time I would go in to teach I found myself telling the kids that I teach about my exciting adventures. I really longed to be outdoors ALL THE TIME. I have a customer base. I have the property. Outdoor education is booming and there is nothing in our area like what I want to offer. Real forest land. Real passion. Market: I started my swimming business 10 yrs ago by accident... After brain surgery in 2008, I was depressed and 70lbs overweight. Water and being outdoors healed me and continues to today. I ended up focusing on the water. Now since I can't teach swim at the place I was leasing due to new state regulations I have the time to work on my ultimate dream of having an outdoor school. I have never advertised in my entire career and have loyal faithful customers with ever-growing families that long for a great outdoor education centre. My market would be 6mo to 12 yrs. ● I own 20acres in Enumclaw, Wa and it is designated forest land. ● At the bottom of our property would be the entrance of the school. Its completely private. ● I have 2 middle school teachers that would be willing to leave their current jobs to hop on board if at all possible. ● I already have a HUGE customer base. ● I have my business license, domains, FB page, IG page and Logo. ● I would love for my first school to be world-renowned and have locations all over the US. ● I would love to hold forest bathing retreats for adults to help with depression and anxiety. We need this especially now.
