Valentino Kennels is a full service dog and cat care facility. It offers retail, pet grooming, doggie daycare as well as boarding. My mission is to become a recognized local leader in pet care by handling everyone’s pets with integrity and respect which equals love.
Clients will come to me when:
- They are going out of town and they need a place for their pet to stay.
- They work long hours and require daycare for their pet.
- Grooming and maintenance
My ideal location would be Scotts Corner NY. There is one grooming facility, and one pet boutique. Westchester County NY and Fairfield County CT are both crawling with independent contract walkers and sitters, there are VERY few actual facilities and of the facilities that do exist; they are overly commercial with an industrial feel rather than a warm home away from home atmosphere. I spoke with the owner of a potential commercial rental space in Scotts Corner, NY. She informed me that while there is a groomer and boutique in town she feels there is high demand for boarding/doggie day care and as a pet owner would love to have me in her location!
I feel this is an opportune time to take this small freelancing business out of my home and into a facility. I bring with me over fifteen years of canine health, nutrition, breeding, handling, and grooming knowledge as well as managerial skills.
