Cancer Milepost exists with two interconnected purposes:
1. The first is to invite compelling journals from other cancer websites. Once accepted, phrases within the journals will be cross referenced to procedures and doctor prescribed, FDA approved medications. This significant integration can show journals in a new way - one that supports pivoting the content from all perspectives. The visitor can choose where on the scale from pure subjective to pure medical data where he or she wants to begin.
The second is to research all contemporary data from cancer focused government agencies to include disparate groups including the CDC, the National CAncer Institute, the FDA, the Pharmaceutical Companies, and top medical journals in between.
Explaining and combining newly generated data information, making it effortless to comprehand for the non-medical reader, makes our purpose possible. This realigns the data to the similar audience of the journals. This requires and enormous investment in research time, but saves the person most in need - the cancer patient - from having to deal with the information overload and sorting the dubious content that the Internet is known for in this often life and death subject.
