Description: The Picnic Basket brings family cooking to new heights. We offer a gourmet lunch at an affordable price. We are the only restaurant in Louisiana using Pretzel Buns and Hoagies. We pride ourselves by offereing Lunch, Homemade Sides, and Desserts by using fresh ingrediants and making and producing each meal as the customer has just placed there order. I believe with my business plan and the positive feedback I have received, we can hit are target revenue points of 40 customers spending an average of $7.70 dollars per meal which at the end of the day is $308.00 dollars. Then since we are open Monday through Friday for 20 work days per month this figure comes to $6,160.00 dollars a month. Than you subtract our lease, food, supplies, utilities, salaries and that number is $3,962.00 dollars. And we have a Total of Positive Revenue at $2,198.00 dollars. I would like to expand into catering. Our long term goal in the future is to get this restaurant product franchised. My culinary skills have been used in several catering jobs before this. But I wanted to take my dream of preparing food in a restaurant setting called "The Picnic Basket" that would make Dave Thomas, Bob's Big Boy and Kentucky Fried Chicken from years past become excited today.
