Description:
Since its conception over a hundred years ago, animation has attracted the attention of both artists and audiences with its ability to create worlds in which anything is possible. Not since the early 90 has the industry experienced such forward momentum. Animation has taken the box office by storm and new animated content is regulary being created for all types of media sources.
Since 1998 SOCONA has been independent content for the festival market. We are seeking to move from the independent arena to a fully functioning animation production facility. SOCONA has a number of projects developed for broadcast outlets.
We are seeking funding to create pilots for three of our most fully realized shows, allowing us to "pitch" these concepts to the networks, producers, and studios.
