Description: Hi, my name is Dylan Mays from Beaumont, Texas. I am a 25 year old entrepreneur looking to take over today's automotive industry by storm with this great idea. I've always been in love with vehicles, repairs, and the technology being the building of them. I recently decided that it was time to open my very own shop, but what could I do different than any other shop in the USA? The answer is specialize in kit car builds as well as run my very own YouTube channel. Now you may ask, what does YouTube have to do with anything? Well YouTube is the #1 social platform in the market today. The plan is to create a clothing brand of shirts, hats, jackets, and much more with Shopify. Shopify allows "printing on demand" which allows worry free of myself or anyone having to manually do any work. Shopify is in charge of any orders made through my website and they will create and ship the necessary product to the customer. This can be teamed together with the business and YouTube by creating a repaeatable process known as "car giveaways". In the presentation above, it shows the amount needed to order 3 kit cars and the needed accessories for each build. The plan is to take these 3 cars once they are built and team it together along with the website and YouTube. The only way someone will be able to enter these giveaways for these cars are through purchasing (at least $20 worth) on the website. The website will then keep track of each person purchasing items and put their name into a drawing. This will be a month to a month and a half process each car that is being given away at the time. This allows plenty of time for the YouTube channel to be used as promotion as well as shop "day to day" activities. YouTube will be used daily at the shop documenting the activities going on around the shop. This will cause many fans to be subscribed to the channel and become consistent, loyal viewers over time. Now how will we ensure that we are getting viewers and fans? The answer to that is marketing, advertising, and being consistent until the first car giveaways are completed. This plan consist of myself and hiring a lead mechanic that has more than enough knowledge to help me train 2 entry level mechanic technicians the basics by the time the first kit car arrives. We will then begin working towards the first kit car build, which will be no longer than a month. The entire process is being filmed and uploaded onto YouTube, giving the fans daily content and more exposure for fans to become aware of what is taking place. A huge plus is that I am in the process of purchasing a well achieved automotive YouTube channel with 41,000 subscribers already. This is huge because it will give the channel and company a huge head start on obtaining fans from the very first day. Along with promotion and advertising, this can lead to viral videos with over 100,000 views on some videos in no time, and this can generate tons of income. With this idea, and the techniques that are in play, this company will be generating over $1,300,000.00 in the second year of operating. This doesn’t include any revenue from YouTube as well as any custom orders we get in over the year. The reason you should say yes is because, there’s no other shop in the world specializing in kit car builds on top of what they are already doing. This can be a one of a kind shop which will bring in even more revenue than expected. This can lead to expansion, hiring new skilled employees, building a race team for events, and much more.
