The Henry Ranch, Dalhart Texas is scheduled to begin operations in February 2011. It will be located on 10,000 acre farm that concentrates on raising grass fed beef to be sold at natural organic packing houses and grass fed beef packing houses. The Ranch will also grow 2500 acres of irrigated Alfalfa and Coastal Hay for the Domestic and International market.
The company will offer four basic product lines:
Alfalfa and Coastal Hay (prepared in various sized/shaped bails for various markets).
Natural Organic Beef (Beef that has not been given any antibiotic or steroids, but can be fed grain 30 days prior to delivery to the packing house).
Grass Fed Beef (that has not been fed grain but only natural forages and is antibiotic and steroid free).
Commodity Grade Cattle (that requires antibiotic during growing process).
