Description: I have several recipes for items that would make a great food truck to fund the creation of an eventual store or chain of hotdog/snack stands. My primary seller will of course be hotdogs which I have a special method of cooking to make them better than anything I have ever found at a ballpark, or any place else for that matter. I can do this with a simple Ballpark frank from the grocery store or a gourmet hotdog that you can buy from companies like Nathan's Hotdogs. It is all in my special method of cooking which will pretty much be a trade secret that I personally developed. Another item I plan to sell is a an old recipe of my mother's for homemade runzas which are far better than the ones you get from the Runza restaurants, obviously I can't call it a runza so it will be either a Pamza (if not too similar to Runza to be considered a legal issue) or Pam's Pouch. I have tested the method or precooking and reheating Runzas in both an oven and a microwave and either method is very good, but there is nothing quite like getting one fresh out of an oven. As a result I would like to add an oven to the truck so I can serve those hot and fresh as much as possible. I will also sell hamburgers, loose meat sandwiches, sides like nachos and cheese, chili for hotdogs, bags of chips, fountain soda, and bottles of water. I have worked out a cost structure for most items I plan to sell and estimate I will have an EBITA of about $55,000 per year on the low end and $100,000 or more on the high end. Ultimately I am looking for a startup loan or equity investment of between $50,000 and $75,000 to purchase the truck, food equipment (mostly comes with the truck), supplies, and permits requires for operating a food truck. I would love the opportunity to speak to an interested investor or bank about my business plan.
