Our company is a part of the professional and technical writing industry. We view ourselves as a stimulant to national and state economies in that our main purpose is to help people in their efforts to become gainfully employed through effective résumé counseling, preparation, and ancillary services.
We primarily serve a niche market targeting female professionals who are either out of work through displacement, returning to work after a lengthy absence (say after leaving work to start a family), or looking for career advancement (overcoming the glass ceiling.) All others seeking our services would be classified as a spillover market.
We have also identified a secondary untapped market for our services, but will require additional funding to support hiring more employees to address it. This untapped market is strategic staffing and personnel contracting firms looking to outsource candidate résumé editing and formatting services.
We have an excellent reputation with our existing clients and the potential for growth among strategic staffing and personnel contracting firms is tremendous. To best take advantage of our growth opportunities, the company would like to develop a strong Web presence by investing in state-of-the-art Web site technology and capitalizing on current search engine capabilities. This will allow us to accept credit card sales, create a virtual working environment, and become much more cost effective.
