Horseback Haven is a non-profit organization who provides horseback lessons to anyone with a disability according to the NARHA standards. We use only certified instructors. Each rider has an individual lesson plan and is given individual attention at each lesson. The lessons improve the handicapped person in mind and body. The progress is amazing. An example; Ann was almost non-verbal and low functioning. After two years of riding she is able to say certain words, brushes and feeds her horse, plays games on horseback and laughs out loud. Her caregivers are amazed at her response to the horses
