Description: Our organization, GBD Concepts, is looking for $50 to $100k in additional small business funding in order to grow our Social Business/Shopping/Media Network Website startup. GBD Concepts is located in Tampa, FL and has very conservatively projected gross sales of above $1M through advertising sponsorships, online memberships, special pay-per-use services and more. Here are a few other important details: We're mainly interested in these types of funding: -Equity Funding (Venture Capital, Angel, Private Equity, etc.) The funds will primarily be used for the following: -Operating/Growth Capital (Payroll, Sales & Marketing, etc), We need some additional capital in order to finish the website (fill it with content and presold memberships) in order to properly prepare it for its launch/debut within 2-3 weeks of receiving the necessary additional funding. To date we've already used our personal funds of around 40k but we feel that it is necessary to take additional seed money in order to meet our marketing goals and objectives, as well as have the additional necessary capital in order to finish the last of the site's security programming details, setup/secure some office space and have the necessary office/computer equipment in order to have the various Interns that we have lined up to help fill the site with content come in and do their tasks... we want to have the site pre-filled with as much content/data before the launch. While we have been lucky to have dedicated individuals lined up to intern for free, there is still a need for a few paid positions for department heads in areas of expertise which directly relate to specialty services required to finalize the website, provide for the necessary data security features and some additional services, Marketing and PR, as well as have some additional funding on had in order to carry the site and staff for the first couple of months while the membership billing and advertising sponsorships billing starts to come in on a regular basis. The organizations main partners have been in the internet consulting business for over 14 years. We started one of the first live video teleconferencing websites, and later on formed the first online affiliate program. We are very well experienced in what we are doing; we just happen to need the necessary additional funding/capital in order for us to launch the site in a proper fashion. Our organization is currently working building a new website whose sole purpose is to educate individuals about Eco-Lifestyles, Greener Living Practices, Sustainable Building Practices and so much more. We will be your ultimate resource guide; uniting you as members of the community and influential consumers in today’s society with businesses and organizations who have green products or services to offer, or those companies who have also taken an interest in ensuring that they are doing their part to reduce their carbon foot print on our environment. Global Warming is a huge problem, and while it’s too late to stop any of the effects, there are actions that can be, and need to be, taken now in order to slow down those effects on our planet for our health and to help preserve the planet for our younger generations now and to come. We don’t intend to push our views on anyone; that’s why our new website will be filled with helpful guides, informational tools and other useful media sources geared towards helping individuals like you find the appropriate information without tedious research. Our site will let you experience the issues that global warming presents first hand, and will let you decide for yourself what role you think you should play based on factual information you find within our site using our searchable database of extensive data. We help debunk the myths, we help remove the false statements and we help filter out the unnecessary junk so that you get right to the information you need. We connect you with; other likeminded individuals as well as certified experts who can help guide you and give you answers to your questions based on their work in the field in which they are certified experts in. We also help connect you with local businesses and organizations so that you can buy local to reduce your own carbon footprint, support local businesses and other organizations who are doing the same.
