Description:
I have Invented and Patented two tools for the Painting Industry. These tools do not exist until I put them on the shelves, but they have a potential to bring in up to 10 million a year business, through sells at the 5000 Big Box stores. The over 20 thousand Hardware stores. The 48000 Auto Parts stores. I have made four tools out of the two by having each tool do a separate job. One Tool is made to carry a roll or rolls of Masking Tape up to one and one half inches wide by sliding it into the users pants pocket and sliding the tape over the tool. I call this tool The Painters Tape Mate 1.5. It costs $.58 to manufacture. I will sell it for $3.50. The suggested retail, $6.98 to $7.98. It's big Brother, The Painters Tape Mate 2.5 carries Masking Tape and Drywall Paper Tape up to two and one half inches wide. It costs $.64 to manufacture. I will sell it for $3.75. The suggested retail, $7.98 to $9.98. The second tool I patented is The Painters Brush Drag. This tool hooks to the edge of a 1 and 2 gallon paint container, It drops down into the container four inches and is used to drag the excess paint off of the brush instead of dragging it off on the edge of the container. I call these "The Painters Brush Drag 1" for the one gallon container and "The Painters Brush Drag 2" for the 2 gallon container. These are made of Stainless Steel and cost $.92 and $.99 to manufacture. I will sell them for $3.00 for the 1 gallon and $3.25 for the 2 gallon. I plan on having a placard the tools hook to, to have a picture of what each tool does along with my Logo and "Don's Painter Stuff" I researched my tools using the prototypes I made at several Home Depot's,Lowe's and Sherwin-Williams in both Arizona and Nevada. All responses were from experienced Painters. All responses were Positive and some were interested to find out where I purchased it. I also went to several Hardware and Auto Parts stores. Again, all positive responses. Sherwin-Williams has 4400 stores. Home Depot has 2224 stores. Lowe's has 1750 stores. If Sherwin-Williams buys one 24 case of each tool per store, that's 60,600 tools for $818,100.00. for an example.
I'm looking for $50,000 for 25% of net. It will take another three months to get the first orders into the stores.
