Description: IP «SHAPRANOV» COMPANY HISTORY AND BACKGROUND Presently working stone milling enterprise (company) was established in 1998. Marble processing used to be primary activity of this given enterprise. The production items made of marble are as follows: unpolished marble slab (top) 300 mm width, 20 mm thickness, besides, it specialized on the production of monuments. Raw materials from Koelginskiy and Ufaleiskiy marble deposits were used, processing was conducted on self-made machines. In 1997 replacement of the equipment was undertaken. Stone milling equipment, produced at the experimental plant town Resh, Sverdlovskiy region, was installed. This new equipment was used and is still being used for production of ritual and other goods from granite ??????-?????? (Gabbro-diabase), Natural deposit «Avneporoshskoe», from Mansurovskiy and Sukhovyasovskiy natural deposits. All original stock (raw material) deliveries are made directly from the manufacturers. At present, the company has a permanent set of customers, but lack of productive facilities prevents from performing all the received orders in time. Actual customers’ demand several times exceeds productive capacities of the stone milling enterprise. Due to everythingl mentioned, the company management decided to purchase new modern (up-to-date) equipment, which productivity is several times higher. PROJECT OVERVIEW Project objective is to construct new stone milling line in Kyshtym, Chelyabinsk region. New line construction is supposed to be performed on the basis of the acting granite processing workshop, Shapranov private entrepreneur company. At present, the enterprise is unable to cope with the order volume, due to inefficient production facility. Order volume 2.5 times exceeds productiveness of the equipment. Equipment replacement will enable to increase productive facilities in 3-4 times, and also to expand production assortment, to manufacture figurine units. All these actions will satisfy increasing demands of the expanding market. New equipment will enable to manufacture the following production items: 1. Constructional material o Facing tile o Steps of various thickness o Pedimental stone of various thickness o Paving stone o Windowsill o Curb stone (edge stone) o Columns, balusters, architecture elements 2. Interior elements o Tables, tabletop for kitchen sets o Kitchen sink o Fire places 3. Ritual production o Monuments and gravestones o Memorial complexes BUILDING At present, operational project of stone milling manufacture technology has been worked out in the process of making decisions about the model, brand, type and quantity of the equipment purchased. In addition, technical specifications for the construction project of stone milling workshop building have been worked out. It is necessary for the stone processing production to construct a modular type building from LMK with the total area of 1800 sq.m.
