Production Budget: $11.7 million (only approximately $6 million is to be recouped) Distribution: US theatrical distribution through Freestyle Releasing with marketing by Russell Swartz, the former head of marketing for New Line... US DVD distribution through Sony. Theatrical release on approx. 1500 screens Accounting/Collections: Because the project is bringing the marketing financing, not the distributor, the collections and accounting will be independent of the distributor. Collections will be through an independent collection agency that will pay distributor fees, investor profits, etc. based upon contractual obligations. The production will also be paying for most print and marketing associated expenses directly, so prints and advertising spending will not include inflated prices that are rebated back to the distributor. No funds will flow through the distributor. The result is that the production can better manage costs and maintain control over accounting and cash flow. D J Sekelik
