Description: Our feature film, FLIGHTS OF FANCY, is fully cast and has an award-winning director, as well as an award-winning cinematographer attached. We also have a fully developed script and are in talks with a number of strategic partners in terms of product integration (i.e., Western Union and TACA Airlines, among others). FLIGHTS OF FANCY is inspired by the real life story of Dr. Ricardo E. (“Lalo”) Saca, who is the embodiment of the American Dream. Lalo hails from El Salvador and comes from humble beginnings. However, he migrated to the U.S. in his late teens and only 11 years later graduated from medical school, achieving his life-long dream of becoming a doctor against all odds and at great personal sacrifice. Throughout the years, he supported his family financially, sending $200 a month to El Salvador, and kept his younger brother in school. Today, that younger brother is the current President of El Salvador, Tony Saca. We are closely following in the footsteps of the recent box-office hit film, UNDER THE SAME MOON, targeting the art house market, as well as the diverse U.S. Latino audiences (both the assimilated/acculturated Latinos and the Spanish-speaking, more recent immigrants). UNDER THE SAME MOON had a budget under $2 million and grossed in worldwide box office, over $23 million. Because of its high profile, FLIGHTS OF FANCY has garnered considerable buzz from extensive press coverage in the past two years, culminating with media exposure of a cocktail that President Saca hosted in April to meet and greet members of the cast. We have an easy to navigate website: (URL removed), which provides all of the details of our project.
