Description:
(URL removed) is a niche video and media oriented social networking site for individuals interested in rhythm games. Our primary focus is on the Rock Band and Guitar Hero line of games, though Bemani games are also encouraged. We maintain a list of users broadcasting live streams of their gameplay via (URL removed) and provide syndication services to interested parties via a desktop notification applet and via the popular online community at (URL removed). Our users have the option to use our website front-end for broadcasting their stream, which provides them with some look & feel and content customization.
We solicit original video content in the form of instructional videos. Several top-ranked players are providing us with instructional videos on becoming a better player at various game instruments. Our community also contains online discussion forums.
Additionally, we sponsor and promote charitable and for-profit events. Our community is very interested in marathon style events; our last marathon grossed $1500 in donations for a charity. We have two scheduled upcoming charitable events to benefit Hurricanes Gustav and Ike victims, and the Child's Play non-profit. Our for-profit events are primarily prized online tournaments, and further income is made via ad placement and subscriptions for ad-free site viewing.
