Description:
Project 1 is a multi-use family facility centered around the performing arts that provides training in dance, theatre, and digital film making. In collaboration with a host of acclaimed domestic and international practitioners we aim to radically alter the performing arts training paradigm thru classes workshops, lectures series, college credited study abroad and other unique as well as on-going special events. Project 1 also aims to alter the performing arts studio paradigm by providing a comprehensive experience for the entire family, one that is accessible to all levels and age ranges. We are committed to offering comfort, convenience and enjoyment of our facility through a wealth of amenities: while one member of the family engages in a class, another member can be looked after by our child-care staff, while older siblings can catch up on homework (with tutor assistance) in the homework room. Others, may enjoy gourmet coffee at the european style coffee/juice bar and cafe, decompress in our luxurious relaxation room, workout in the state- of- the art mini gym, or take advantage of the yoga and pilates classes, shop in the fine and performing arts retail store, or treat themselves to a massage. Project 1 is also committed to community outreach through dynamic cultural events such as: gallery openings, dance, theatre and film performances, seasonal and charity events and arts education support for local schools. We strive to engage, enlighten and empower the local community.
From those seeking a brief performing arts experience or health and wellness to the committed performing arts practitioner Project 1 represents the ultimate destination.
