I am going to build a 100% handicapped accessible apartment complex. A 60 unit complex, having accessibility meeting Arizona guidelines for individuals seeking independence, dignity and freedom! This apartment complex will have everything one would need to live independently while living with a mobility handicap, such as wide entrances to every room, wide open space, a roll in shower, a fully accessible kitchen, etc.
I Destiny Romero who will be acting Owner/Operator has been working with the handicapped and disabled for approximately 15 years, having knowledge, education and training in this field I can accurately run a complex knowing the ins and outs of not only the consumer but the business. I also have approximately six years in office management as does my office Manager Beverly Larson as well as my accountant Donald Loucks. We all have college credits/degrees in business.
I currently will have three competitors. One is the Broadway Apartments currently residing in Tempe AZ where my realtor and I have not been able to get to much information about but I know it has some accessibility apartments and others are not. The other is Arroyo Terrace located in Chandler who has 18 Units that are accessible, and Sweetwater Gardens located in Phoenix. They all have a two and a half year waiting list!
I am confident that I can complete this project within the designated time period and close to (or under) budget. I also believe that my recommended approach will have credibility with the managers involved! I am also extremely confident that this apartment complex will succeed tremendously, not only making profit but helping those who are less fortunate!
