Description: Founded in 2009, Colorado Camper Van LLC has been a market leader in Pop Top van conversions. During this time, CCV has had impressive growth percentages. Now as a multi-million dollar company with an average of twenty- five employees, CCV will be moving to expand its product line in the near future. The new concept will be sold directly to dealerships. Our growth has developed primarily by word of mouth and social media. CCV’s reputation has continually fueled deposits for van builds several months out. Our challenge has been in moving from a small business into a mature business model. This has included shop expansion, expanded management and administrative team, and cash flow management challenges. With the help of our county’s Small Business Development Center, CCV has received continuous mentoring in the areas of lean manufacturing and financial management. In the last year, the shop space has doubled in size from about 10,000 sq ft to 20,000 sq ft. In addition, our employee base grew and now has 18 production team members, a design engineer, two sales members, production manager, supply chain coordinator as well as a financial controller. Several systems processes are underway with our commitment to business success and doing the right things at the right time. These include installing manufacturing software (E2 Shoptech), implementing an employee training program and skills matrix for pay incentives, cost analysis, and employee incentives and benefits. CCV has taken great strides to address our weaknesses and improve our strengths. While CCV still offers custom van conversions, our drive over the last 16 months has been in standardizing van builds into a repeatable, manufacturing process. We are now able to contract out CNC parts for our primary van builds. This ensures quality, consistency from build to build, and predictability in scheduling. This allows us to continue to be the affordable van conversion option in the industry. While start-up custom van builders are popping up at a significant pace, most do not offer the pop-top. CCV has year after year delivered a robust engineered pop top that is difficult to replicate. This sets us out as a leader in a fast growing industry that demands mobile living, working and adventure vehicles. Approximately one year ago, CCV secured a revolving line of credit. This came at a critical junction for the business. With such massive growth, the company desperately needed funds to cash flow the business. This was of great benefit in allowing us to take the next step in the growth process. It was the answer to some significant problems at the time. This RLOC is no longer a viable option for us. It is my intention to take the company to the next level and this means a larger amount of capital. It is my intention to find a like minded investor who is able to see the vision of what CCV will become given the right financial backing. I am mainly interested in these types of funding: Equity Funding (Venture Capital, Angel, Private Equity, etc). The funds will primarily be used for the following: Operating/Growth Capital – primarily marketing Debt reduction This is an opportunity to grow with a proven, viable company.
