Our startup company, Doodles Cookies is located in Aurora, IL. We're looking for all available options to raise $100k in small business funding in order to fuel the growth of our Organic/Gluten Free Cookie Mixes. At this point, Doodles Cookies currently has annual gross sales in the region of $250k or Less. Doodles Cookies President Deborah Sievers won two national awards from Chilie Pepper Magazine back from 2004 and 2005. Doodles Cookies first press release was on May 15, 2009. Doodles Cookies had received food reviews from (URL removed) and also received rave reviews. Doodles Cookies has changed from Organic to Organic/Gluten-Free. Doodles Cookies recently came back from the "All Things Organic" trade show at MC Cormick Place Chicago June 16 and 17 2009. Doodles Cookies received rave reviews not only from buyers but also from professional chefs. Doodles Cookies was approached by many buyers from the large mainstream markets such as Whole Foods to smaller health food and retail stores. Due to the wonderful response Doodles Cookies has started working with a larger co-packer that can produce Organic/Gluten Free Cookies Mixes with a very fast lead time. Doodles Cookies new co-packer is in Tampa Florida. Our new co-packer is not only larger and faster we are also getting the highest quality of ingredients. I have also been working with a premium organic chocolate mfg Barry Callebaut for all of the chocolate used in Doodles Cookies mixes. Doodles Cookies is looking to complete our line of Organic/Gluten Free Cookies mixes by the end of July. Our flavors are Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, Nut Butter, Sugar Cookie, Double Chocolate Chip Habanero and Oatmeal Raisin. Doodles Cookies is primarily interested in receiving capital from: Angel Investors as well as loans. Due to the market I am aware that loans from the banks are tough to get in the hospitality area. I would also consider partners ships with the perfect company fit. This is a very hot niche market right now due to the growing rate of many food allergies such as Celiac and the growing need for quality organic products.
