Description:
Six years ago it was revealed that 82% of youth in Tyler, Texas, under the age of 18, are poor. My hope and mission, through the Arts and Humanities Council of East Texas (AHCET), is to help these youth with after school/out of school programs. The arts are proven to help and heal the spirit and character of people. These kids--the least of these--need to know we care.
