I'd like to tell you a little bit about me and what my goals for my company are. My name is Dawn Thompson. I am a married, mother of one fabulous daughter. I am seeking to bolster our family's income and my own personal growth by becoming my own boss and starting my own business as a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant. I have been in the corporate world for many, many years, being over-worked and under-paid, over-stressed and under-appreciated. All that lead to me having a nervous breakdown at (URL removed) how I pictured my life at all. A short time into my recovery I met a wonderful woman who introduced me to Mary Kay and told me how fantastic the products were and invited me to attend her weekly unit meeting. I went and met so many amazing women who's stories and positive attitudes really touched me. I decided then and there that THIS was what I needed in my life, not only will this give me the opportunity to spend more time with my family but it will also allow me to help other women to feel beautiful and pampered, as well as to be a part of a company that does so much good work. If you don't know anything about May Kay products then you may not know that their motto is "Try before you buy" and it is my dream to open a small storefront shop where women can come in to get facials and try out our best selling products! With the help of an Investor, I hope to pay it forward with my business by being successful and being able to help people feel good about themselves so that they can realize their dreams and create their own success stories.
