Our client, (the “Company”) is an innovative Logistics Solutions Company that has developed and built the first intermodal, collapsible and stackable 53 foot flat deck (patent pending). The flat decks are equipped with state-of-the-art satellite systems that run on proprietary software allowing customers to track their shipments in real time. The decks are a paradigm shifting technology that will replace over-the-road flatbed trailers in the same way that intermodal containers replaced many over-the-road van trailers and are able to transport odd shaped material that traditional intermodal box containers cannot accommodate. The flat decks present a tremendous opportunity for a first mover to capitalize on a $28 billion North American Market. The Company estimates that at least 20% of the over-the-road flat bed market, $5.6 Billion of revenue, can be converted to an intermodal flat deck due to the cost savings and environmental advantages that rail transport has over trucking. The Company has contracts in place with anchor customers who are ready to use the flat decks for their shipping needs and will generate head haul revenues in both directions for these shipping lanes. Management is seeking $10.0 million in total financing ($2.0 million to $3.0 million in the first round) to increase the size of its fleet and begin capitalizing on the pent up demand within the North American market
