What the hell happened to cigarettes? When did they become a commodified, rancid sliver of tar? Big Tobacco cigarettes contain a noxious cocktail of over six-hundred chemicals. Is it any wonder they punt us out of tony establishments to smoke them? They are atrocious. Still, they've made us all exiles. When did smoking become our generation's hidden vice, instead of our occasional indulgence? We smoke, but we're not smokers. You appreciate the difference.
We embarked on our odyssey to find artisanal cigarettes, only to find the tentacles of Big Tobacco's corporate hegemony deftly spanning continental divides. Unable to quench our thirst for perfection, we founded Hestia Tobacco with a bold new idea: less is more. Natural cotton lint filters. Pure fiber papers. Organic tobacco culled of all seeds and stems, and blended to a strict, all-natural recipe.
