Tukys is the “Original” colored and flavored Tequila that delivers bold tropical flavors. Unlike Jose Cuervo, Patron or Sauza, Tukys provides popular flavors and ready to drink pleasant tasting cocktails.
Problem
Tequila is best known for the stories of collage blackouts. Most students have a Tequila story. The Tequila segment has not changed in 50 years, there is a few more brands on the shelf today, but no profile differences. Vodka has well over 38 flavors including bacon and whipped cream.
Solution
The Tequila segment is about 11% of the overall spirits category with no colored & flavored on the shelf. According to the census the population has changed in the last five years, now 71.6 % of the U.S. Population are now 21 years old or over. The trends are showing more customers prefer cocktails over beer or wine.
Tukys has protected proprietary formulas by the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (B.A.T.F.) along with Trade Secrets that work like a patent when formulating and mixing the Tequila.
