Hello, my name is David Gentry, the Creator/Inventor of the Blue Marlin Filter System (US Patent # 6,394,706) and the JET Filter System (US Patent # 7,615,148) an sheet piling erosion control weep hole system. Early in 2007 with our customers’ feedback for a better filter design including a flush mount housing, easier installation and enhanced drainage flow, we then created the JET Filter System.
A common problem for retaining walls is the lack of proper erosion control of the backfill behind a wall. The JET Filter prevents hydrostatic pressure by allowing water to drain from behind the wall. The JET Filter is inexpensive and easy to install and avoids expensive repairs later to fix the problem.
Since the inception of the JET Filter System we have received many compliments on the new design from Engineers, Contractors, Project Managers, State & Government Officials, Distributors and Property Owners.
