This Sacramento Eagles are replacing the Stockton Lightning indoor football team in the Arena Football League . The Stockton Lightning had their first season in Stockton in 2006. During that time the team averaged a stadium crowd of 6000 to 7000 tickets out of a capacity of 10,000 at the Stockton Arena, and had seven complete sell out crowds in the same run. The Stockton Arena in Stockton has a very successful hockey team that has been playing there since 2006. There is a significant carryover from the indigenous hockey team which shares the same stadium having a solid fan base of 4000 fans. The Stockton Lightning were owned by the Risendorgh Family out of Chicago, which also owns the Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox.
Consequently, the Sacramento Eagles absorbed the players, personnel and fan base of the Stockton Lightning with one additional enhancement of signing a great deal of local Sacramento talent.
This opportunity is of HIGH PRIORITY for the following reasons:
1) Season starts 3/11/12
2) SOUND EXIT STRATEGY: funding can be paid out directly from the projected (6) home game revenues of $897,500 gross and/or $638,500 net income. Monthly payments can be made PLUS 6% INTEREST paid directly from a percentage of Sacramento Eagle's per game revenue take as the owner nets 100% of the home gate per game !
