Description:
Start a school that will teach construction basics with enough knowledge and hands on experience to completely finish their own basement. Students will learn basic non-load bearing framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall hang-finish, trim, flooring.
The program is 8 four hour sessions. Classes can be taken during day(post HS grads, out of work office types) or evenings.
Students will actually build a basement finish in our facility using their own hands and our furnished tools. Class time is 1/3 classroom and 2/3 lab, they will leave with confidence and resources to tackle most any repair their homes might need.
